Welcome to the blog of Paul Groves, freelance journalist and media consultant.
I am currently PR & Marketing Manager at fdf (Foundtion Degree Forward). The views expressed on this blog and the archived features are published in a purely personal capacity and there is no link with fdf.
I also work occasionally on a freelance basis for other clients. I have been working in the media since 1989, having started my career with a local newspaper in South Wales.
In 1994 I joined The Western Mail – the national newspaper of Wales – as a senior journalist and left six years later having risen through various roles to become Assistant Head of Content.
Following a stint as Editor of Managing Schools Today magazine, I became Chief Feature Writer of The Birmingham Post in November 2001. I held this position until March 2006, when I decided to embark on a freelance career.
I currently offer journalistic and public relations support to a number of clients in the Midlands and across the UK. As a freelance journalist, my work features in regional and national newspapers, as well as a wide range of magazines and periodicals.

Paul
I´m trying to do things, to show myself that being part of change is possible and you seem like someone I could get great advice from.
It´d be great if you visit my blog and give me some advice on what I´m trying to accomplish.
Thank you,
-Daniel Aguilar
