Traffic congestion is being caused in North Wales by a large flock of sweet-toothed sheep.

Since the local council switched to a sugar-based grit to help it stick to roads during cold snaps, the sheep on Halkyn mountain have been swarming over the hilly roads getting their fix (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/north_east/6317693.stm).

Maybe this explains why Welsh lamb tastes so much sweeter than the meat produced anywhere else in the world?
